Far from being one of my fave clubbing places, last saturday night I ended up in this centric club in Barcelona. I had an acquaintance working there and a friend of mine wanted to go...so we went there and OMG!! The club is located in Plaça Reial, a square next to the famous “Ramblas” in Barcelona, very crowded always by mostly tourists, but...
The first impression of the club is not bad, around 2.30 AM there was a long line at the door and this fact use to be a good signal, that means that is crowdy inside. Once inside the club, the local seems pretty acceptable, building arcs and stone walls with an adequate lighting in two floors not too large.
The music is different than the played in other clubs, no House Music, neither Dance Music. DJs play hip-hop, reaggae, soul or funk. Maybe in the floor upstairs you can find dance music, but also pop, rock and one thousand of different styles.
Despite of the music (as I said, it’s not my fave one to clubbing), I have to say that you can find really reeeaaally good dancers. However, those dancers are a minority, most of the people is or maybe gets (or just seems) really horney, so you can see dances and moves you’ve never seen before. And when I saw this girl performing as she was fucking a loudspeaker..OMG!! If you are staying until the end you will be able to see very wasted people and “couples” making out. It was a big show for me but I wasn’t disappointed at all, really funny to see...
About the dressing code... I can’t define one... from rap outfits to fancy clothes... You always can find someone that got lost having no idea about this club and ended up there (like me). Plus, as I said the club is located in one of the most touristic places in Barcelona so YESSS, there is a lot of international people.

Another important information is the price to enter, it’s 10€ without a drink but, like in almost all night clubs in Barcelona, there are many guest-lists from different PRs really easy to access.

In short, Jamboree is your club if you love this kind of urban dancing or simply, you don’t wanna try too hard to pick up someone.. Otherwise, find another club...that’s what i would do!! ;)
